Why Relationship ?
* Each shounen-ai or yaoist girl would likes has a couple in Death Note.
Then, after NearMello, MattMello and LMN (L x Near x Mello) there's RaitoL, the main charter and his enemy. How wonderful ! ~
But, I can't explain exactly how and why the Raito x L is came out, it did it and nothing else; well they are in Love Love Mode !!

And Friendship ?
* Well. I think that Raito and L don't be only enemy, but they are over all friends (yes, yes ... [SPOILER] Raito Kill L btw nobody is perfect xD [/SPOILER] ).
If I quote what L saids:
"Yagami-kun, you're my first friend."
and Raito:
"Yes, for me too"
I think that L is honest, and ... Raito a little bit too.
Everybody can think in a different way, isn't it ? xD
